hello and welcome to my lair...er...home.  do come in, but be sure to wipe your feet, and mind the furniture. there's lots to keep you busy, iffen you don't want to do dishes. you could check out some tunes , or video, if you prefer. mi casa es su casa. and if you're looking for something a little less auditory, there's always the family photo album. i won't let my mother tell revealing, embarassing stories about my childhood, but you could peruse the lyrics notebook for frightening insight into my psyche.  too scary? then you could always just check out the calendar of shows, or leave a comment in the guestbook in the foyer. want to get in touch with me? (y'know, for gigs, or a long-lost inheritance...) talk to my butler, Butler. (i know, but don't laugh, he's self conscious.) if you're a bookworm, you could always chill in the library. i try to keep a few of my favorite selections around. (please turn a blind eye to the dust, i'd rather play guitar than do housework!) or introduce yourself to friends and family. go up to the observatory and howl at the moon. and if you feel like braving the attic, there are some real gems under all that dust and cobwebs. help yourself. there's a giftshop down the road apiece, just watch out for the ne'er-do-wells at the bar next door. and try to be in by 4 am, if you would. (mama likes to be in bed by a decent hour.) make yourself at home... just don't spill anything on the sofa.

Q: what do you want to drink?

A: i'll have an amstel light, unless i'm hungry, and then i'll have a guinness. although, vanilla smirnoff and ginger ale tastes just like cream soda. yum!

Q: where do you get your ideas for songs from?

A: from my life. for example, i went to my highschool reunion and 2 jackasses in the 8th grade were still jackasses, and still in the 8th grade, only now one's a preacher and the other's a deacon. ("harrumph!")  they were mean to me. so i took the high road, (as i so often do not...), went home and wrote the song man-bitch. ("why ya gotta be such a little man-bitch? why ya make me wanna give ya knuckle sandwich?")  my songs reflect what i'm going through at the time. ever piss me off? mebbe you'll see yourself in them. mwahaha! *cue ominous music*

Q: how did you get started in all this business?

A: i started singing when i could talk. i got a plastic guitar at age six. when my folks saw how hard i tried, they gave me a real one. my aunt gave us a piano when i was 12, and i picked out the notes on the guitar, figured what they were on the piano, and taught myself. i played every morning and every night until i got yelled at to go to bed. at 18, when i moved out and no longer had a piano at my disposal, i picked up the guitar again. i didn't want to be a guitar player, i just wanted something to sing to.

Q: what kind of guitars do you play?

A: i have an aluminum and graphite martin alternative X acoustic, a hamer electric (sweet blonde wood with abalone and mother of pearl inlay,)  and a taylor acoustic which is my pride and joy. they're all great instruments, but i didn't pay more than $700 for any of them, though one's worth over 2 grand. i guess i've got good guitar luck.

Q: if you could be any animal, what would you be?

A; hmmm... mebbe a dolphin... but with all the pollution in our oceans, i don't know how i'd like that. or an owl, if we weren't cutting down all their natural habitat and putting in stupid strip malls and crappy housing. gee, that's a tough one. i guess if i had to pick, i'd like to be a pitbull with a really cool owner who let me sleep on the bed and go for rides in the truck. (incidentally, those are two of my favorite human pastimes...)

Q: how do we hire you? or buy your music? or get the rights to do it ourselves and makes us both a pile of money?

A: if you are a venue that is in need of my services, a famous singer who likes my stuff, or a movie producer who needs original scores for your films (y'know, it's cheaper that way...) then just click here and drop me a line. i always need work.

Q: what is the meaning of life?

A: to be happy. as long as you're not being an asshole to people, lying, cheating, stealing, wasting and fucking things up, if you're happy, that's what counts.

if you have any other questions you'd like to see answered here, feel free to holla at me!
